The right kind of support is crucial to those entering into adolescence and beyond. This is a time of rapid and intense change, when finding one's identity and creating relationships is hugely important. Of course, this can also be challenging. Even more so given the rapidly changing landscape of our world.

Meeting the young person where they are and creating a strong therapeutic alliance is vital to ensuring that they feel empowered to explore their thoughts and feelings in a safe and confidential space.

I am currently studying for my level 5 certificate in working with children and young people from age 11 to 18 and have been working with young people for a number of years. As well as my current studies I have also completed the following training with the Tavistock Centre in London:

Families and Beyond - An introduction to systemic thinking, Certificate

Understanding Adolescence, Certificate

I have also completed numerous trainings in the safeguarding of children and young people.
